Holiday Giving Guide 2024

The holiday giving season is upon us and we wanted to spotlight a few amazing local businesses that donate back to Cottonwood Institute as you shop for your friends, family, colleagues, and clients.

14ers Watercolor Prints: You may have heard that local artist, Mike Wilson, donated his entire watercolor collection of all 53 14,000ft peaks to Cottonwood Institute. Check out our 14ers Artwork Store and buy a print for someone special you hiked a 14er with. 100% of net proceeds directly support our students and programs!

Moving Mountains Lidl Co.: Moving Mountains Lidl Co. was founded by Kara Vendel back in 2020 as a new parent, right before the global pandemic shut the world down. She wanted to start a company and a brand that helped make the world a better place. 5% of their sales support local nonprofits, including Cottonwood Institute! Check out their hats and beanies for kids and adults!

Patagonia: Patagonia has been making high quality, ethical clothing and gear for over 50 years. The earth is their only stakeholder and they are committed to giving 1% back to environmental nonprofits. While Patagonia is not a local company, their local stores in Boulder and Denver have been so supportive of our students and programs donating over $80,000 since 2009. Support great companies that support local nonprofits!
