Our programming isn’t the only area that has seen growth and improvement this year; we are very pleased to announce the addition of two brand new board members, Joel Frank and Jessy Clark!
Joel Frank is a graduate of the Eli Broad School of Business, Michigan State University. He currently holds position as Senior Tax Advisor with Clear Creek. His duties involve creating economic solutions for individuals and businesses that find themselves in untenable financial situations with the federal and/or state government. He is an executive with 15+ years of deep and broad non-profit experience across 4 continents. As a new board member, he hopes to offer cross-functional competency spanning operations, development, finance and marketing. He became interested in CI because his greatest passions are fighting for the health, education, financial security and environmental sustainability for all.
Jessy Clark is the Chief Operating Officer at Swallow Hill Music. Prior to that she was VP of Operations for Butterfly Pavilion for 5 years and was the Education Manager and Director of Programs for The Wildlife Experience for 10 years and worked for the Denver Zoo Education Department before that. Jessy grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Biology from Central Michigan University. Her undergraduate research focused on blue crab fisheries in Puerto San Carlos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. In 2008, Jessy received her Master’s in Nonprofit Management from Regis University. Additionally, Jessy was a 2011 graduate of the 50 for Colorado Program through the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. In her spare time, Jessy likes to golf, ski and fish, and has a passion for all wildlife.
CI is very excited to see their skills and passion at work! Welcome aboard Joel & Jessy!
