Another Coohills Beats on the Creek summer concert series to benefit Cottonwood Institute has come and gone, but we had a blast and it had us “Dancin’ In The Moonlight”!

Every summer Coohills Restaurant hosts a summer concert series to help raise money and awareness for Cottonwood Institute and our programs while folks live music and beverages on the bridge over Cherry Creek in front of their restaurant.

We had fun groovin’ to the sounds of The Long Run, Mr. Majestyk’s 8 Track Revival, Stone Beat Invasion, Anavrin’s Day, and Funkiphino.

In addition to amazing music, we gave away some sweet prizes, including gift cards and wine courtesy of Coohills Restaurant and local hotel stays at Limelight Hotel, Catbird Hotel, The Crawford Hotel, and The Oxford Hotel. Thank you for your generous donations!

We wanted to thank Tom and Diane Coohill from Coohills Restaurant, the Walton Family Foundation, Trent Peaker from MegaStar Financial, and the hundreds of people who showed up to each concert to make a donation on the bridge. We are happy to report that we raised $30,000 to support our programs and students for the 2023-24 school year! We will apply this funding to offering our Colorado Watershed Project and CAP Class with our school partners in Aurora, Denver, and Boulder.
