Ecology Hike with Lynne Sullivan

On Friday, we went beyond the classroom to learn about the local ecology of Boulder and to start thinking about what it means to have a sense of place. Lynne Sullivan, from the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, taught us about the basic ecology of Boulder as well as winter survival strategies of local animals, birds, amphibians, and insects. This information is an important foundation for understanding our stratgies for staying warm on our first winter camping trip. Great job on Friday everyone!
