1. Most improtant thing about the trip is keeping a positive attitude. After camping with complete strangers in the middle of nowhere with a 50+ pound backpack, always remember to keep a positive attutde.
2. This ranks up their with 1. KEEPING WARM. Here in Colorado it’s cold and in the mountains, with no furnace, it’s even colder. So just remember to bring that 0 degree sleeping bag.
3.Food is always an essential; good food = a good trip. Pack lots of non perishable foods and don’t pack more than you need; it will weigh you down in the end.
4.Just have fun. Keeping the positive attitude going will make your trip more bearable. If you don’t like what’s going on just keep smiling and do it anyway. Who knows you might actually enjoy yourself.
