The Cottonwood Institute just completed our Winter Staff Training on Saturday, January 5, 2008. This training was open to qualified instructor candidates who were interested in facilitating winter programs for the Cottonwood Institute. We covered: winter safety and risk management concerns, winter survival priorities, quinzhee snow shelters, emergency snow trench shelters, and setting up a winter base camp.
