The Changemaker Program continues to have successful social and leadership development gatherings for CAP high school alumni, who enjoy each opportunity to be reunited. Written by CI Senior Instructor Erin Angel.
Cottonwood Changemakers Alumni reunited this weekend for the first-ever Alumni Hike. They caught up with each other’s lives, schools, and jobs, and exchanged stories about the old times while hiking in the snow at Button Rock Preserve. Founder Ford and Instructor Erin joined the alumni in snow fights and so many games! On the hike, the reunited Changemaker alums shared that their program changed their life, and they all used their Changemaker experience to write their college essays. If you are an alumnus of any Cottonwood program and are interested in joining us on adventures, contact Erin at erin@cottonwoodinstitute.org.
A big thanks to the funders and supporters that make the Changemaker Program possible, including: Larrk Foundation, Great Outdoors Colorado, Thorne Nature Experience, and Tony Grampsas Youth Services Program.
